How does Hydraloop work?
Hydraloop gives your used water from the shower, bath, washing machine, and air conditioner a second life. With a smart combination of six purification techniques without filters or chemicals, Hydraloop makes the water clean and safe for reuse.
You can then use it to flush the toilet, do laundry, water the garden, or fill the pool (but not for drinking).
The system works automatically, requires little maintenance, and only needs some preparatory pipework. This allows you to easily save up to 45% on your drinking water consumption and reduce your wastewater, without compromising on comfort.
How much does a Hydraloop solution cost?

How are the Hydraloop devices installed?
The installation of a Hydraloop begins with preparing the building. According to the Recycle Ready guidelines, the piping is adjusted so that all gray water can be collected properly. An installer checks in advance with a checklist to ensure that everything is ready.
The device is then placed indoors, for example in a garage, utility room, or technical room, and connected to the gray water pipes, a reserve water source (tap or rainwater), power, and the internet. The system is also connected to the sewer system so that dirt can be removed from the water during the cleaning process and any overflow can be safely drained. The clean, recycled water is then fed through separate pipes to toilets, washing machines, gardens, or swimming pools, for example.
If the building is properly prepared, the system can be up and running in about 2–4 hours. The device only requires a standard power connection, internet, and a floor that can support its filled weight.
The installation must be carried out by a certified Hydraloop installer to ensure warranty and proper operation.
How much can be saved with a Hydraloop installation?
A Hydraloop system can save up to 45% of your water consumption by reusing water from showers, baths, and washing machines. You can then use this cleaned water for things that do not require drinking water, such as flushing the toilet, watering the garden, or doing laundry.
Is it better than rainwater harvesting?
Hydraloop and rainwater harvesting each have their own role, but complement each other well. Hydraloop recycles gray water from showers, baths, washing machines, and air conditioning condensate into safe, reusable water for toilets, laundry, the garden, or the swimming pool. With rainwater harvesting, you can use rainwater for the garden or washing the car, for example. However, you are dependent on the weather: on average, rainwater harvesting systems are empty for 3 to 4 months of the year.
Hydraloop works fully automatically, without filters or chemicals, and delivers certified water quality. Many people therefore combine the system with rainwater harvesting to use even less tap water.

Do the devices need maintenance?
A Hydraloop requires very little maintenance. There are no filters or membranes that need to be replaced, and usually a simple check or cleaning once or twice a year is sufficient. The system monitors itself and sends a notification via the app if something is wrong. If maintenance is required, a certified technician can perform it. In short: Hydraloop is designed to run almost automatically and without hassle.
What is the warranty?
Hydraloop systems come with a warranty; the exact terms and conditions are provided with your quote or by a product specialist. It is important that the system is installed by a certified Hydraloop installer in order to maintain the warranty. The devices are built to last at least 20 years and are monitored 24/7 via the Hydraloop app for performance and safety.
